What Is Heaven Going To Be Like?

Did you know God is preparing a place for those who know Him, who have invited Him to be Lord and Savior of their life? He stands at the door of your heart and knocks, waiting to be invited in. Revelations 3:20

Did you ever wonder what it may be like in Heaven?

For starters, the main city, referred to as New Jerusalem in the Bible is 1500 miles high, 1500 miles long, and 1500 miles wide. Revelations 21:16

Its street is made of shining transparent gold. Each gate of the city is made of a solid white pearl. Rev. 21:21

The foundations of the wall of the city, are inlaid with sparkling precious gems. The first foundation is jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. Revelation 21:19, 20

There is no need for sun or moon in it for the glory of God illuminates it. Revelation 21:24

There will be no more pain, no more death, no more sorrow, or crying. Revelation 21:4

John 14: 2,3 states, “In My Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

Have you ever wondered what your place in Heaven may look like? I have.

The Bible says in I Corinthians 2:9 “But it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

In other words, we cannot even imagine how wonderful heaven is going to be, and already is for those who we love who have gone on before us. Can you just imagine by looking at the beauty of His creation, the colors and design of birds, fish, flowers, mountains, streams, valleys, how wonderful it might be? Earth is just the waiting room for Heaven.

When you hear of ‘near death experiences’, the people who experience them say they did want to come back, that’s how wonderful it is.

When you receive Jesus into your heart, He comes in by way of His Holy Spirit. He never leaves you or forsakes you. He is always with you. He knows your thoughts. He knows the desires of your heart. He even knows what kind of home you would love to live in, the colors, the décor. He knows you. Do you want sapphire walls? He knows the answer to that question. Is it hard then to imagine that what God has in store for you will be just what your dreaming of multiplied by a gazillion?

Don’t worry about transportation. I’m sure we will be flying. When Jesus rose from the dead, He ascended into Heaven. Hope to see you on the other side.
